Daxido Launches Ride‑Hailing Platform in Bengaluru
Daxido Technologies Services Private Limited, a Bengaluru‑based mobility technology startup recognised by DPIIT, announced the launch of its ride‑hailing platform in Bengaluru. The service currently offers auto‑rickshaw and cab bookings across selected locations in the city and is built on the philosophy “Fair rides, Fair earnings.”
Zero‑Commission Driver Model
Unlike traditional platforms, Daxido does not deduct a percentage commission from each ride fare. Instead, driver‑partners pay a flat platform fee, allowing them to retain the full fare earned and providing clear visibility into earnings per ride.
Transparent Rider Experience
The platform displays the fare amount before a booking is confirmed, and its “Price Lock” feature guarantees that the quoted fare will not increase even if traffic delays extend the journey.
Safety and Language Support
Safety features include live trip sharing and a one‑tap SOS button. The app supports six languages – English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu – reflecting Bengaluru’s diverse user base.
Expansion Roadmap
Daxido plans to progressively expand its coverage across more parts of Bengaluru and later introduce additional mobility and delivery services such as rentals, parcel delivery, and women‑only rides.
Founder’s Vision
Founder Nayaz Faiyaz Ahmed stated that the platform was created after years of observing Bengaluru’s mobility ecosystem, aiming to address driver‑partner uncertainties and rider frustrations by delivering fairness and transparency to both sides of the marketplace.
