Announcement

On 15 September 2026 in Mumbai, DBS Bank India unveiled an expansion of its DBS MAX merchant collections platform at the Global Fintech Fest 2026. The enhancement introduces a digital payment management solution powered by Juspay, a global payment infrastructure firm, enabling businesses to access multiple payment aggregators through a single DBS MAX integration.

Solution Features

The Juspay‑enabled integration supports intelligent routing that follows merchant‑defined rules and real‑time payment performance, allowing transactions to be automatically directed to the most efficient gateway. A gateway‑agnostic card tokenisation feature lets merchants switch between supported aggregators without re‑tokenising cards. A unified dashboard provides consolidated visibility across all payment gateways and methods, displaying transaction success rates, refunds, and reconciliation data, thereby helping merchants quickly assess performance and derive actionable insights. Merchants can add or replace supported payment aggregators with minimal technical effort, reducing integration time and enhancing payment resilience.

Market Context

India’s digital payments landscape has grown dramatically, with UPI transaction volumes increasing by more than 12,000‑fold over the past decade. Consequently, businesses are increasingly adopting multiple aggregators to handle rising transaction volumes and meet heightened consumer expectations for seamless online payment experiences.

Executive Comments

Divyesh Dalal, Managing Director and Country Head of Global Transaction Services, Corporate Banking‑Financial Institutions and SMEs at DBS Bank India, stated that the acceleration of online commerce has raised consumer expectations for flawless payment journeys and that corporates now seek platforms offering comprehensive online payment suites for better decision‑making. He described the partnership with Juspay as the first step toward an intelligent payments platform that will usher in a new era of treasury management for corporates.

Sheetal Lalwani, Co‑Founder and COO of Juspay, said the collaboration combines DBS’s established payments franchise with Juspay’s leading orchestration capabilities to simplify digital payments, give businesses greater visibility and control, and create a more intelligent, connected payments ecosystem.
