DBS Global University (DGU), Dehradun, was honoured with the SAP University Alliances Educational Excellence Award APAC 2026 at the SAP Academic Community Conference APAC 2026 held in Indonesia. The award was accepted on behalf of the university by Dr Navjyoti Singh Negi, Associate Dean, in front of educators, academic leaders and technology experts from the region.
Significance
The award validates DGU’s 18‑year vision, articulated in 2008, to achieve global recognition for quality education and to embrace emerging technologies and innovation. DGU has been a member of SAP University Alliances since 2009, linking enterprise technology with academic curricula.

For B.Tech and Business students, DGU provides live SAP environments, ERPsim business simulations developed at HEC Montréal, a dedicated SAP Build Code, SAP Build Apps and Copilot Joule course delivered by a certified SAP Build Pro Code trainer, and analytics exposure through an alliance with SAS (United States). This combination enables graduates to write code and understand its business purpose, preparing them for roles such as ABAP/RAP developers, SAP BTP/Fiori developers, integration engineers, HANA data and analytics engineers, functional‑technical consultants and AI‑driven automation positions.
