DCW Limited has provided an update on the restoration of operations at its plant located in Dhrangadhra - 363 310, Surendra Nagar District, Gujarat. This follows a previous intimation dated August 03, 2026, regarding the temporary suspension of operations due to flooding and water logging at the factory premises caused by heavy rains.

The impact of the rains has been neutralized, and operations at the plant are being resumed in a phased manner. The Company expects to restore production to normal levels within the next five days.

Details of Steps Taken to Restore Normalcy

Steps taken to restore normalcy include:

  • Safety assessment prioritizing plant and employee safety.
  • Initiating immediate repairs/modification, if any, to infrastructure and equipment to resume continuous processing.
  • Temporary arrangement of pumps to drain the waterlogged area.
  • Implementing measures to protect the inventory of raw material & finished goods.
  • Working with suppliers to secure and replace critical raw materials.

Financial Impact and Insurance

  • The estimated insurance amount to be claimed is yet to be ascertained.
  • However, the losses on stock and IAR (presumably Inventory and Assets Record) are fully covered by insurance.
  • The estimated financial impact and the actual amount of damage caused are yet to be quantified. The Company is currently assessing the same.
