Deakin University Announces 2026 Vice‑Chancellor’s Meritorious Scholarships in India
On 28 September 2026, Deakin University, Australia, issued a press release from New Delhi announcing the Vice‑Chancellor’s Meritorious 50% Scholarships 2026. The programme recognises eight high‑achieving Indian students drawn from Deakin’s four India HUB partners – Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Symbiosis International University (SIU), O.P. Jindal Global University and Chitkara University. Two scholars from each HUB will receive a 50 % contribution toward their Deakin tuition fees, reflecting academic excellence, leadership potential and ambition. The announced scholars include Ishan Attri (Chitkara University) who will pursue a Master of Data Science (Professional), Parth Bhandari (Chitkara University) aspiring to a career in cybersecurity, Aditi Raj (O.P. Jindal Global University), Alekhya Chaganti (SIU), and Snigdha (MAHE). Each student described the award as a catalyst for personal growth, confidence and entry into a global learning environment.
