Decathlon Sports India Launches Kiprun Collection
Decathlon Sports India issued a press release on 28 September 2026 announcing the launch of the latest Kiprun collection, its expert running sub‑brand. The collection introduces 17 new high‑performance running shoes for men and women, expanding the brand’s portfolio to a total of 35 styles and colourways. The shoes are grouped into several models:
- KIPRUN Elite – marathon‑focused shoe, developed through athlete testing and worn by French runner Jimmy Gressier at the European Half Marathon championship.
- KIPSTORM ELITE 2 – targeted at intermediate to expert runners, featuring FASTECH+ foam and an optimised carbon plate for maximum race‑day power and energy return; 5 mm heel‑to‑toe drop and 39 mm/34 mm stack height.
- KIPRIDE MAX 3 – ultra‑cushioned model with SOFTECH+ foam, 42 mm/36 mm stack, 6 mm drop, 360° comfort fit, breathable mesh, 3D‑knit tongue and reinforced collar for superior shock absorption.
- KIPRIDE 2 – everyday training shoe using FASTECH foam, 36 mm/30 mm stack and 6 mm drop for a responsive ride.
- KIPRIDE GRAVEL – off‑road shoe equipped with FASTECH foam, 3 mm lugs and hybrid grip for mixed‑terrain traction.
All models incorporate advanced technologies such as FASTECH+, SOFTECH+ foams and carbon plates to address specific biomechanical and training needs. The collection is positioned to serve a broad spectrum of runners, from daily fitness enthusiasts to race‑day competitors, and will be sold at selected Decathlon retail outlets across India and through the e‑commerce portal www.decathlon.in.

He highlighted the integration of softer landing foams, smart shoe shapes and carbon‑plate‑enhanced models such as the KIPSTORM ELITE 2 and the plush KIPRIDE MAX 3.
