Deccan Gold Mines Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CSIR-CECRI), Karaikudi, described as one of India's foremost scientific institutions in electrochemical science, advanced materials and energy storage technologies.
Collaboration Scope
The MoU covers joint research and technology development in:
- Nickel extraction from nickel-PGE ores
- Beneficiation and hydrometallurgical process development
- Nickel-carbon battery materials
- Value-addition technologies for lithium concentrates from the Company's Mozambique operations
The collaboration will also facilitate project-specific research programmes, technology validation and future commercialisation opportunities.
