Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited has received orders aggregating ₹116.49 crore (including GST; ₹98.72 crore excluding GST) from Polite Powertech Limited for the supply of 11 kV XLPE power cables for underground distribution projects in Gujarat. The disclosure is made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

Execution Timeline

The orders are to be executed in lots as per manufacturing clearances issued by the customer, expected over the next 12 months.

Manufacturing Details

The cables will be manufactured at the Company's integrated plant near Vadodara, Gujarat, which draws aluminium from the company's own rod mills.

Related Party Transactions

The company confirmed that the promoter/promoter group/group companies have no interest in the entity that awarded the orders, and the orders do not constitute related party transactions.

Management Commentary

Mr. Kavish Shah, Vice President, commented that Gujarat's distribution utilities are taking urban networks underground to improve reliability, and winning four orders in a single day reflects trust in DICABS' quality and delivery standards. He noted the company has exited the NCLT framework and is scaling up its MV and EHV cable business.
