Dinto Solar, founded in 2017 through the Central Research Institute of State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC), marks its ninth anniversary on September 5, 2026. By the end of 2025 the company had invested over US$59 million (RMB 400 million) in heterojunction (HJT) research and development, accounting for more than 25 % of its revenue, and accumulated more than 120 patents.
The firm now possesses proprietary mass‑production capabilities for both silver‑metallized HJT and copper‑metallized HJT (C‑HJT) cells and modules. Its flagship G12‑132 HJT module delivers 760 W of power at 24.47 % conversion efficiency, offering higher energy yield and lifetime returns.
Demonstrating rapid manufacturing speed, Dinto Solar completed technical review, contract signing, volume production, and first‑batch delivery for a 200 MW residential distributed PV project for China Huadian in Shandong within a single week in 2025. The company’s modules have been deployed in more than 100 projects spanning deserts, mountains, agrivoltaics, fishery‑PV, and commercial‑industrial rooftops, confirming reliability under harsh conditions.
Commercial momentum accelerated as Dinto Solar signed over 2 GW of HJT module orders in 2025, representing a year‑on‑year increase of more than 200 %. In 2026 the company won a bid under China Datang’s 1 GW HJT module framework procurement and was shortlisted for POWERCHINA’s 3 GW HJT procurement.
Looking ahead, Dinto Solar is targeting a 15 GW HJT production footprint in China and is collaborating with value‑chain partners to develop perovskite‑HJT tandem technologies, aiming for cell efficiencies above 30 %.
