Dinto Solar Wins 1 GW HJT Module Bid

China Datang, a leading state‑owned power generator with renewable projects spanning utility‑scale PV, distributed generation, agrivoltaics and desert renewable bases, retained a dedicated HJT procurement category in this round alongside other n‑type technologies such as TOPCon and BC, indicating continued market demand for diversified high‑efficiency PV solutions.
The press release highlighted that HJT modules offer high conversion efficiency, a superior temperature coefficient, high bifaciality and low degradation, attributes that improve lifetime energy yield in challenging environments such as deserts, coastal zones and high‑altitude sites. Dinto Solar’s integrated HJT platform encompasses cell development, process optimisation and large‑scale manufacturing, with ongoing advances in low‑silver metallisation, 1/3‑cut cell architecture, copper‑metallised HJT and perovskite‑HJT tandem technology.
Its flagship HJT modules are rated at up to 770 W of power with a module efficiency of 24.8 %, and units exceeding 730 W have already been deployed in utility‑scale and commercial projects worldwide. To date, Dinto Solar’s HJT modules have been supplied to more than 100 projects across over 30 countries and regions, covering applications that include desert PV, offshore solar, agrivoltaics and distributed generation, thereby demonstrating stable performance under a wide range of operating conditions.
