Launch Overview
Doctors Foodstore announced the launch of Longevity Flour on 1 October 2026, positioning it as India’s first atta that prints a Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid Score (PDCAAS) on its packaging. The flour delivers a PDCAAS of 1.00, the maximum value on the FAO/WHO scale, as independently measured by NABL‑accredited Equinox Labs.
Nutritional Profile
The product provides 51.84 g of protein and 12.77 g of dietary fibre per 100 g, both verified by TÜV India and Equinox Labs. Protein quality is enhanced by a blend of vital wheat protein, pea protein (supplying lysine), soy flour, flaxseed and psyllium husk. A 25 g scoop, equivalent to one roti, supplies approximately 13 g of protein, less than 1 g of added sugar and under 0.10 g of trans fat, while flaxseed contributes plant‑source omega‑3 fatty acids.
Safety and Transparency
Batch‑level testing confirmed arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury levels below detection limits and within FSSAI limits. Each tin carries a QR code linking to the complete laboratory reports for that batch, covering protein amino‑acid profile, mineral content and contaminant results. A printed “Health Passport” booklet inside each tin explains the meaning of each figure and the testing methodology.
Ingredients and Usage
The flour is made from MP Sharbati wheat blended with vital wheat protein, pea protein, soy flour, flaxseed and psyllium husk. Psyllium provides soluble fibre and dough‑binding without additives. The flour behaves like conventional atta, requiring standard kneading, resting and tawa cooking.
Packaging and Accessories
Longevity Flour is sold in 1 kg tins that include a cloth pouch, a wooden measuring scoop and the GI certificate. The tin also contains the Health Passport booklet.
Founder’s Statement
"Indians do not need another supplement. They need more from the food they already eat. We decided the only honest way to make that case was to test the finished product and publish everything, including the tests nobody asks us to run," said Abhishek Gupta, Founder of Doctors Foodstore.
Market Context
The launch addresses credibility concerns in India’s packaged nutrition market, where independent testing has often revealed discrepancies between labelled and actual protein content. By publishing full batch reports, Doctors Foodstore aims to set a new transparency standard for staple foods.
