Dr AK Panda Appointed SAIL Chairman & Managing Director

Dr AK Panda assumed charge as SAIL Chairman & Managing Director on May 9, 2026 after serving as Director (Finance).
He previously held additional charge as Director (Commercial) for nine months, focusing on operational alignment and NSR improvement.
SAIL is pursuing capacity expansion to 35 MTPA with emphasis on raw material security and value-added products.
Dr Panda brings over three decades of experience across operational, financial, and commercial domains at SAIL.
