Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Limited has terminated its agreement with Novartis India Limited (NIL) that was originally dated February 11, 2022. The agreement pertained to the distribution and promotion of select brands of Novartis in the Indian market.
The termination was executed due to a change in the controlling shareholding of Novartis India Limited. Despite the termination, Dr. Reddy's will continue to commercialize the brands covered under the agreement until September 30, 2026, providing a transition period.
