DS Group’s ASCEND 2026 Technology Summit

DS Group, officially the Dharampal Satyapal Group, concluded the inaugural ASCEND 2026 summit, a three‑day technology experience held at its New Delhi headquarters from 27 July to 29 July 2026. The event brought together more than 5,000 participants, including employees, business leaders, industry experts and technology partners, under the theme “Diversified by Business. United by Technology.”

The summit showcased practical applications of a wide range of digital technologies – Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, Enterprise Applications, Robotic Process Automation, Industry 4.0 and Sustainability Technologies. Leading partners such as SAP, Microsoft, Salesforce, Snowflake, PwC, EY, Deloitte, Grant Thornton, Bizom, Mitsubishi, PeopleStrong, o9 Solutions and others demonstrated how these emerging tools can create measurable business impact.

Over the past three years DS Group has doubled its technology investments and expanded its ecosystem of technology partners from roughly 20 to more than 50. The company announced that it will triple its technology spend going forward, positioning digital innovation as a core growth enabler as it aims to become a Rs 20,000 crore enterprise by its centenary year.

Senior Vice‑President, Information Technology Santosh K Singh emphasized that technology at DS Group is driven by business impact, stating that AI‑powered decision‑making, intelligent supply chains, cloud transformation and enterprise‑wide data capabilities are essential for faster decisions, greater efficiency and sustainable growth.

ASCEND 2026 was conducted as a paper‑less, digital‑first event, reinforcing DS Group’s commitment to responsible growth. The DS headquarters holds LEED Platinum certification and LEED Zero Carbon certification from the US Green Building Council, and the group reports a water‑positivity index of 1.8 across its 30 Indian locations.

The summit also signalled a cultural shift within the organization, encouraging curiosity, continuous learning and cross‑functional collaboration. By integrating technology across every function and business unit, DS Group positions itself as one of the few FMCG organisations leading an enterprise‑wide dialogue on digital transformation, underscoring that future business value will be shaped as much by intelligent technology adoption as by products and brands.
