DS Group’s 97th Founders’ Day and the launch of DS‑Verse
On the occasion of its 97th Founders’ Day, the Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group), a leading FMCG conglomerate and multi‑business corporation, unveiled “DS‑Verse,” an immersive WebAR experience that tells the story of the Group’s journey since its founding in 1929.
Experience mechanics
The experience is accessed by scanning a QR code with a compatible smartphone and pointing the device toward the sky. This triggers an augmented‑reality universe where constellations act as gateways to different chapters of DS Group’s history. Each constellation opens narratives covering the founders, the Group’s philosophy, key milestones, its portfolio of brands and businesses, corporate social responsibility initiatives, sustainability programmes, and the impact created in communities.
Technical platform
DS‑Verse is built as a browser‑based WebAR solution, requiring no separate app download; users can engage through standard browsers on compatible smartphones. The platform is intended to be a permanent digital property of DS Group, with plans to continuously add new content and stories, allowing audiences to revisit the Group’s journey beyond the Founders’ Day celebrations.
