EasyJet France Cabin Crew Strike Notice

Unions representing the cabin crew of EasyJet France (LON:EZJ) filed a formal strike notice on Tuesday. The notice authorises industrial action at any point between August 7 and September 2, provided the unions give 48 hours’ advance notice for each specific strike date.

The unions argue that employment conditions have deteriorated over the past year, highlighting chronic schedule instability, last‑minute roster changes, imposed trip patterns, particularly burdensome rotations, and a total lack of protective measures for crew members.

While the strike notice remains in force, union representatives have indicated a willingness to negotiate with management and may withdraw the notice if the airline’s response adequately addresses their concerns.

Earlier, the unions had lodged a labor dispute notification, which was suspended because of wildfires in the Gironde region.
