Eimco Elecon launched two new battery-operated vehicles, UV-A-BE and MCAR-E, for underground coal mining operations on April 14, 2026.
The UV-A-BE is a multi-utility vehicle with a 10-tonne payload capacity and 1.5m height, designed for material transport in gassy mines.
The MCAR-E is a personnel carrier with a 1.35m height, capable of transporting 14 personnel plus a driver in low-seam mining environments.
Both products are domestically focused, indigenously designed, and comply with stringent explosion-protection and safety standards for mining.
