EKI Energy Services Limited announced the successful registration of its Plastic Waste Reduction Project in Bangladesh, Phase I, with Verra. This marks the first registered plastic waste reduction project in Bangladesh.

The project is registered under Verra's Plastic Waste Reduction Standard, a global framework that supports plastic waste collection and recycling activities while developing credible environmental markets for waste reduction. Through this project, EKI aims to implement structured approaches to plastic waste recovery, contributing to the development of more circular material flows.

The project will generate Plastic Credits that help increase the collection of waste and the availability of recycled plastic feedstock, preventing valuable materials from entering landfills or leaking into the environment. This initiative represents a strategic expansion into a major South Asian market and strengthens EKI's growing portfolio of plastic waste recovery, recycling and circular economy solutions.

Mr. Manish Dabkara, Chairman and Managing Director of EKI Energy Services Limited, commented that this registration is an important milestone in EKI's journey of expanding environmental solutions across geographies. He noted that EKI's experience in developing a plastic project in India provided valuable insight, and taking that experience into Bangladesh strengthens the company's ability to support circular economy solutions while creating new opportunities for environmental finance.

EKI will continue to explore opportunities to develop and scale credible plastic waste reduction projects across geographies, supporting the growth of environmental markets while contributing to practical solutions for plastic pollution.

This disclosure was made to BSE Limited under regulatory requirements and signed by Yash Joshi, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, on August 19, 2026.
