Ratul Puri, Chairman of Hindustan Power, said affordable, uninterrupted electricity will become a key competitive advantage for India’s growth.
He highlighted rising power demand from transportation electrification, manufacturing, AI‑driven digital infrastructure, data centres and household consumption.
Puri called for expanding 24×7 capacity, storage, grid modernisation, equitable PPP contracts and faster land‑record digitisation to support long‑term investments.
He emphasized that continued policy support and effective execution are essential for India to reap benefits from the evolving electricity ecosystem.
