Partnership Announcement
On October 9, 2026, Embark, a premier integrated service provider founded in 2025 to accelerate Global Capability Centre (GCC) establishment in India, and Tavant, a platform‑powered AI transformation specialist headquartered in Silicon Valley with development centres across the US, Europe, India and Japan, issued a joint press release from Bengaluru announcing a strategic partnership aimed at enabling AI‑ready GCCs in India.
Combined Capabilities
The partnership merges Embark’s end‑to‑end GCC expertise—including strategy formulation, entity incorporation, location and workspace planning, talent acquisition, enabling functions and day‑to‑day operations—with Tavant’s strengths in data engineering, Generative AI (GenAI), agentic AI, software engineering and enterprise platform integration. Embark leverages the institutional‑grade workplace and infrastructure of the Embassy Group, a real‑estate pioneer with over three decades of experience, while Tavant brings its proprietary Agentic Engineering Platform and a track record of delivering intelligent automation to Fortune 500 clients.
Service Offering and Engagement Models
Together the firms propose an integrated approach that aligns business, operational and technology priorities under a single engagement model. For organisations establishing a new GCC, the collaboration reduces typical fragmentation by delivering GCC strategy, location selection, entity setup, workspace design, talent sourcing and enabling functions in tandem with AI and data readiness, technology pods and AI‑enabled engineering. The partnership offers three flexible engagement options:
- Assisted Build – advisory and execution support for initial setup;
- Build‑Operate‑Transfer (BOT) – Embark builds and runs the centre before transferring ownership;
- Employer of Record (EOR) – Embark acts as the legal employer while the client retains operational control.
For existing GCCs, the joint team will conduct diagnostic assessments, establish Data & AI Centres of Excellence, and embed technology pods to shift from project‑based delivery to end‑to‑end product ownership, scaling AI initiatives from pilot to production.
Leadership Commentary
Sarvesh Mahesh, CEO of Tavant, stated: “Our teams can start building AI and data capability from day one, while Embark runs the operating foundation in parallel. We’ve built and run engineering teams in India for over 25 years, so we know what it takes to turn a centre into a place where products get built, not just supported.”
Aravind Maiya, Co‑Founder & CEO of Embark, added: “AI is becoming a foundational capability for the next generation of GCCs, and it needs to be considered from the very beginning of the GCC journey. Our partnership brings together Embark’s expertise in building and operating GCCs with Tavant’s strengths in AI, data and digital engineering, enabling enterprises to build more AI‑first centres in India.”
