Envision Earns Triple Tier‑1 Cleantech Honors
Envision, a global green‑technology leader, has been included in the 2026 S&P Global Tier 1 Cleantech Companies List for the second consecutive year. The company achieved Tier 1 recognition across three core pillars of the Future Energy System: as a Wind Turbine Supplier, an Energy Storage System Supplier, and, for the first time, as a Battery Cell Supplier through its Envision AESC business.
The S&P Global assessment evaluates firms on six dimensions – market leadership, cumulative deployments, market share, manufacturing capability, financial performance and sustainability – and the Battery Cell category was introduced in 2026, reflecting the sector’s evolution. Envision’s triple‑category status underscores the strength of its integrated portfolio that spans renewable generation, storage, advanced batteries and artificial intelligence.
The company reports more than 100 GW of cumulative wind installations worldwide. In Australia, its AI‑powered turbine prototype at the Nullagine Wind Farm has successfully achieved grid connection. In North America, Envision has partnered with Cape Breton China Corp to develop a 300 MW wind project with co‑located battery storage in Nova Scotia.
Globally, Envision’s energy‑storage business continues to gain momentum, highlighted by new projects such as the Hartmoor facility in the United Kingdom and the Elements Green and Juniz projects in Germany. By the end of 2025, Envision had deployed a cumulative 50 GWh of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and has remained a BloombergNEF Tier 1 Battery Energy Storage Manufacturer for multiple consecutive quarters.
Envision AESC has expanded its battery‑cell network across Asia, Europe and North America, supplying high‑performance cells for electric‑vehicle and storage applications. The new Tier 1 Battery Cell designation further reinforces Envision’s position as a trusted global battery supplier.
