Envision Energy Secures UL Certifications for European and Australian Wind Projects
On 29 September 2026, at the WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 exhibition in Hamburg, Germany, Envision Energy – described as a global leader in green technology – announced that several of its wind turbine models and tower technologies have obtained certifications from UL Solutions, underscoring the company’s push to strengthen technology adaptation, product certification and grid compliance across global markets.
The EN‑182/6.25 MW wind turbine model achieved Spanish Grid Code Compliance Unit certification at the unit/equipment level, conforming to the NTS 2.1 standard. This grid‑code compliance is a critical technical prerequisite for turbine deployment and project financing within the European market, confirming that the turbine can meet applicable Spanish grid requirements.
Simultaneously, the lattice‑tower technology known as the Nabralift 3.MAX HH188, deployed with Envision’s EN‑182/7.8 MW smart wind turbine, received UL Solutions Type Certification for the Australian market. The certified configuration features a 188‑metre hub height, providing greater flexibility in turbine layout and site development, enabling access to stronger wind resources and expanding development potential across a broader range of Australian sites.
Both certifications deliver independent validation of Envision’s integrated turbine‑and‑tower solution against the relevant technical and engineering requirements, supporting its application and potential large‑scale deployment in the respective markets. The company notes that these certifications also create a technical foundation for extending coverage to additional turbine variants and models.
Envision Energy indicated that it will continue to expand its certification portfolio across other European countries and global markets, aiming to address diverse grid codes, technical standards, environmental conditions and project requirements, thereby delivering increasingly localized, market‑ready wind solutions worldwide.
