The company has been engaged with the Social Stock Exchange ecosystem since its announcement in 2019 and conducted an SSE knowledge session in Hyderabad in 2023, which was attended by the founder of Grace Cancer Foundation.
EQUIPPP recently conducted a knowledge session with Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee, regarded as one of the key architects of India's CSR framework, on the emerging role of CSR through the Social Stock Exchange. The session received expressions of interest and pledges from multiple participants toward supporting social-impact initiatives.
This development aligns with EQUIPPP's Constituency Development & Sustainability Bridge (C-DSB) initiative, under which the company has entered into an MoU with the Telangana State Legislative Secretariat for establishing C-DSB foundations across 119 constituencies. Grace Cancer Foundation has committed to supporting activities in two pilot constituencies under this initiative.
The GCF issue represents the foundation's effort to mobilize social capital through the SSE for its cancer screening and early-detection programs.
