Ethos Limited Announces Hosting of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève Exhibition in Mumbai

On July 4 2026, Ethos Limited (NSE: ETHOS), identified as India’s largest retailer of luxury watches with more than 100 boutiques nationwide and representing many of the world’s most prestigious watchmakers, issued a press release stating that it will host the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) Exhibition 2026 in Mumbai, the country’s “maximum city.”

The GPHG Exhibition, organized by the GPHG Foundation in Geneva, is regarded as the highest distinction in contemporary watchmaking and is often described as the “Oscars of Watchmaking.” Established in 2001, the awards recognize excellence across 15 categories, with finalists selected from over 1,000 nominated timepieces. The travelling exhibition presents these finalist pieces to audiences worldwide, promoting the art and culture of fine watchmaking.

The Mumbai exhibition is scheduled to run from September 28 to October 1, 2026, providing Indian collectors, enthusiasts, customers, media and the broader public a rare opportunity to view and appreciate the world’s finest timepieces. Further details regarding the event will be announced in due course.

In a statement, Mr. Yasho Saboo, Chairman of Ethos Limited and former member of both the GPHG Academy and its jury for two years, said that India now hosts one of the fastest‑growing communities of watch collectors and that bringing the exhibition to Mumbai recognises the country’s increasing importance on the global horological stage. He added that the exhibition will enable collectors and the wider public to experience the pinnacle of contemporary watchmaking.

Mr. Pranav Saboo, Managing Director of Ethos Limited, described the event as a milestone for both the company and the Indian luxury watch market, emphasizing Ethos’s long‑standing commitment to cultivating a culture of fine watchmaking in India and delivering world‑class experiences for its customers.

The release concludes with a brief corporate overview: Ethos operates an omnichannel platform, offers industry‑leading after‑sales service, and has played a pivotal role in shaping India’s luxury watch ecosystem, positioning the country as a significant emerging market for fine watchmaking.
