Overview
Eugenix Hair Sciences, one of India’s leading hair‑transplant clinic chains, outlines its doctor‑led approach that integrates clinical judgement with surgical artistry at every stage of a hair‑restoration procedure.
Clinical Process
The journey begins with a lead surgeon evaluating the patient’s scalp, hair‑loss pattern, donor‑area quality, hair characteristics, facial proportions and anticipated progression of loss. This assessment informs how the available donor hair can be allocated. During a dedicated Planning & Designing session, the surgeon personally sketches the hairline and creates recipient slits, specifying the angle, depth, density and direction of each incision to ensure a natural appearance.
Direct Hair Transplantation (DHT)
Eugenix employs its signature Direct Hair Transplantation (DHT) technique, wherein extraction and implantation are tightly coupled so that each graft’s out‑of‑body time remains under 30 minutes. Extraction is performed by the operating doctor, assisted by other doctors, senior surgical assistants and nurses. Implantation is carried out by senior surgical assistants under the direct supervision of the lead surgeon, with technology and teamwork supporting precision.
Corporate Footprint
The chain operates centres in Gurugram, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar, with an upcoming centre in Bengaluru. Founded by Dr. Pradeep Sethi and Dr. Arika Bansal—both AIIMS alumni and Fellows of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS)—the clinic has completed more than 20,000 procedures over the past 15 years for patients worldwide. The DHT technique was introduced through peer‑reviewed research published in the Journal of Cutaneous and Aesthetic Surgery in 2013 and indexed on PubMed. The Gurugram centre holds NABH accreditation (Certificate No. DE‑2026‑0004).
