On 30 September 2026, Karnataka Chief Minister Shri D.K. Shivakumar inaugurated Eugenix Hair Sciences' new state‑of‑the‑art hair restoration centre located at Featherlite Vantage, 100 Feet Road, Indiranagar, Bengaluru. The multi‑floor facility spans approximately 7,000 sq ft and houses six fully equipped operation theatres.

The ceremony was attended by Eugenix co‑founders Dr. Pradeep Sethi and Dr. Arika Bansal, both AIIMS New Delhi alumni and Fellows of the ISHRS, as well as Dr. Ajay Dharam Singh, Minister for Irrigation, Science & Technology, Karnataka, and Mohammed Azharuddin, Minister of Minorities Welfare & Public Enterprises, Telangana. Padma Shri award‑winning sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a bespoke sand‑art installation to mark the occasion.
Strategic Significance
The Bengaluru centre is the fifth Eugenix location in India, joining existing facilities in Gurugram, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar, and brings the doctor‑led hair restoration model closer to patients in Karnataka, eliminating the need for many to travel to other cities. Eugenix, founded more than 15 years ago in a basement clinic in Rishikesh, has performed over 22,000 procedures for domestic and international patients.
Clinical Approach and Accreditation
Eugenix operates on a doctor‑led model where surgeons oversee diagnosis, treatment planning, hairline design, donor mapping, recipient‑site creation and surgical supervision. The clinic’s proprietary Direct Hair Transplantation (DHT) technique was first described in a peer‑reviewed article in the Journal of Cutaneous and Aesthetic Surgery in 2013 and is indexed on PubMed. The Gurugram centre holds NABH accreditation (Certificate No. DE‑2026‑0004).

Chief Minister Shivakumar highlighted Karnataka’s ambition in sectors such as IT, aerospace and biotechnology and praised Eugenix’s contribution to medical tourism and world‑class, doctor‑led expertise. Dr. Sethi described the inauguration as a meaningful milestone and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to precision and individualized care. Dr. Bansal emphasized that the expansion enables better service to patients who previously travelled to other centres.
