Report Launch
Experian India released a report titled “Unlocking Enterprise Intelligence: A Journey of Innovation and Transformation with Agentic AI”, which examines how agentic AI could reshape financial services in India by enabling more connected and context‑aware decision making across the credit ecosystem.
Key Findings
The document introduces the concept of the “Agentic Consumer”, describing a future where AI assists consumers in discovering, comparing and accessing financial products. It notes a shift from AI being primarily predictive to systems that can interpret intent, comprehend context and act within defined boundaries. Trust, transparency, governance and accountability are highlighted as essential differentiators, with product discovery expected to become more intelligent and institutions that are discoverable, responsive and trusted gaining a competitive edge. The report stresses that agent capability and trust infrastructure must evolve together, and that connected, governed platforms can reduce friction by stitching data, analytics and decisioning with context.
Market Context
Manish Jain, Country Managing Director of Experian India, stated that India’s retail credit market already sourced 51.69 crore loans worth Rs 97.7 lakh crore in FY26, underscoring the scale at which AI‑enabled solutions could be deployed. He emphasized that the next phase of AI adoption will be defined not by autonomy alone but by the confidence consumers and institutions place in trusted, accountable systems.
Experian’s Role
Experian positions its data, analytics, decisioning and platform capabilities as tools to help financial institutions navigate this transformation while maintaining trust, transparency and governance throughout the customer lifecycle.
