Explurger & MP Tourism AI 100 Destinations

On October 9, 2026, in Bhopal, Explurger and the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board formalised a three‑year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deploy the NiVU AI platform across one hundred tourism destinations in the state. The partnership, announced at MP Travel Mart 2026, designates Explurger as the Official AI & Social Media Partner of the board.

The rollout will commence with thirty flagship destinations in the first year, which will be jointly finalised by Explurger and the board within ninety days of the MoU signing. These initial sites will feature QR‑enabled NiVU AI touchpoints that allow visitors to interact with an AI‑powered travel companion via voice or text in more than 130 languages, enabling queries about history, culture, nearby attractions, local experiences and hidden gems.

Beyond visitor interaction, the programme will create an aggregated, anonymised tourism intelligence layer capturing data on visitor questions, language preferences, interests and engagement patterns. This intelligence is intended to support destination planning, visitor engagement strategies and future tourism development across Madhya Pradesh.

The MoU was signed by Jitin Bhatia, Founder & CEO of Explurger, in the presence of Dr. Mohan Yadav, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh; Shri Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, Hon’ble Tourism Minister; Shri Ashok Barnwal, Chief Secretary, Government of Madhya Pradesh; Dr. Ilayaraja T., Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board; and Dr. Abhay Arvind Bedekar, IAS, Additional Managing Director of the board, along with senior officials.

Explurger’s involvement builds on its earlier AI tourism deployments in Andhra Pradesh and Goa, extending its NiVU AI footprint to become one of the largest state‑wide implementations to date. The company leverages a global community of over 25 million users across more than 75 countries, providing an additional channel for international travellers to discover Madhya Pradesh’s heritage, spirituality, wildlife and cultural experiences.

The initiative reflects a broader shift of artificial intelligence from purely digital discovery to physical travel experiences, aiming to make destination exploration more conversational, intelligent and connected.
