FCC Approves Verizon $1B Spectrum Purchase

FCC gave final approval to Verizon’s $1 billion purchase of spectrum assets from U.S. Cellular, enabling network capacity expansion.
The deal, first announced in 2024, follows T‑Mobile’s $4.4 billion acquisition of most U.S. Cellular assets last year.
Post‑T‑Mobile transaction, the remaining U.S. Cellular entity rebranded as Array Digital Infrastructure.
