Press Release – 19 October 2026, Solapur, India

Fenova, the uPVC door and window systems brand owned by Arihant Profile – Extrusion LLP, announced on 19 October 2026 that it has joined the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). The IGBC, established in 2001 under the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), promotes sustainable building practices through rating systems, education and industry collaboration. Fenova’s membership is intended to deepen its engagement with architects, developers, builders, manufacturers and other stakeholders advancing green building practices, thereby aligning its fenestration products with evolving industry priorities on building performance and energy efficiency.

The company highlighted that windows and doors are critical components of a building envelope, influencing heat transfer, indoor comfort and overall structure performance. Fenova designs uPVC profile systems that support thermal insulation and energy efficiency, offering multiple profile series, colour options and wood‑inspired finishes produced via proprietary co‑extrusion technology rather than conventional laminates. The firm emphasized that product performance also depends on profile design, glazing, hardware, fabrication, installation and the building itself, and that its IGBC membership will help it consider fenestration within the broader building system.

Fenova’s growth strategy places strong emphasis on its network of more than 90 channel partners, which connect the company to fabricators and end‑markets. The firm provides technical assistance, product guidance, marketing resources, branding support and project‑sales assistance to partners, aiming to enable them to communicate product benefits, meet customer requirements and expand their businesses. The press release noted that in the fenestration industry, customer experience is shaped by manufacturing quality, component selection, installation and after‑sales service, and that closer collaboration between manufacturers and fabricators is essential for consistent outcomes.

A company spokesperson said, “Our ambition is to build Fenova into a brand recognised not only for its product technology, but also for the strength of the ecosystem behind it. Sustainable construction requires collaboration across manufacturers, architects, developers and execution partners. Our IGBC membership gives us another opportunity to engage with this wider industry, learn from evolving practices and contribute to the conversation around better‑performing buildings. We believe lasting growth comes from combining innovation with strong partnerships and a clear understanding of customer needs.”

Fenova’s heritage traces back to 1989 when Arihant began engineering extruded profiles, predating many Indian uPVC window brands. Launched in 2017, Fenova leverages this four‑decade extrusion expertise to offer contemporary door and window systems. The brand was recently recognised as a Forbes India DGEMS Select 200 company. The IGBC membership marks a further step in connecting Arihant’s manufacturing capabilities with broader sustainable construction priorities as India’s green building movement expands.
