Fiat Launches Topolino Electric Micromobility Vehicle in the United States

On 7 July 2026, Fiat announced the launch of the Topolino electric micromobility vehicle, representing Stellantis’ first foray into the U.S. low‑speed vehicle segment. The vehicle is now available through select Fiat dealers across the United States.

The 2026 Topolino carries a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $13,995, exclusive of destination fees, and is offered in two limited‑quantity trims: the standard Topolino and the Topolino Dolcevita.

Powertrain and performance specifications include a 5.4‑kWh lithium‑ion battery that provides a driving range of up to 46 miles on a full charge. The vehicle’s factory‑limited top speed is 19 mph, but owners may install a Low Speed Vehicle conversion kit—expected to be available by late summer 2026—that raises the maximum speed to 25 mph, thereby qualifying the Topolino for operation on public roads with speed limits of 35 mph or less.

Physical dimensions are 4 feet 7 inches (length) × 8 feet 3 inches (width) × 5 feet 1 inch (height), with a curb weight of 1,073 pounds. A full charge requires approximately five hours when connected to a 2.3 kW AC power source.

Standard equipment features 14‑inch wheels with vintage covers, LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, and multiple storage compartments. The base Topolino includes a panoramic sunroof, while the Dolcevita variant adds a roll‑back soft‑top and a door rope for a more open‑air experience.

The vehicle is targeted at neighborhood travel, coastal routes, resort communities, and private residential areas. Fiat has partnered with Motori & Customs to provide customization options and curated Topolino editions for U.S. customers.

The launch aligns with Stellantis’ FaSTLAne 2030 strategic plan, under which the Fiat brand aims to deliver accessible, design‑driven mobility solutions.

"Topolino represents a new chapter for the brand in the U.S. — defined not just by size, but by purpose," said Olivier Francois, Fiat brand CEO. "With Topolino, we bring a feeling, a lifestyle, a reminder that mobility can be joyful, expressive and beautifully simple."
