Finnacle Institute Announces CFA Coaching Performance and Expanded Preparation Strategy

Finnacle Institute released a press statement on July 29, 2026 in Mumbai outlining its approach to CFA Level I and Level II preparation and reporting pass‑rate outcomes that substantially exceed the global benchmark. The institute highlighted that its recent May cohort for CFA Level I coaching posted pass rates among the strongest in its history, and that across both Level I and Level II programmes the institution consistently records pass rates ranging from 60 % to 71 %, compared with the CFA Institute’s global average of 45 % across all three levels.

The release explains that while Level I primarily tests breadth of knowledge across ten subjects, Level II shifts focus to depth, requiring candidates to navigate vignette‑based item sets that combine multiple concepts within a single scenario. This change coincides with many candidates transitioning from student or early‑career status to full‑time employment, making time‑efficient preparation essential.

Finnacle’s pedagogical model retains a chapter‑wise testing discipline at both levels. For Level I, each chapter is linked to a practice test, followed by a full‑subject test; faculty grade these immediately and provide individualized feedback before the next subject begins, preventing knowledge gaps from compounding. At Level II, the same structure is preserved, but additional scenario‑based practice is layered in to mirror the exam’s integrated item sets. After completing the curriculum, all subjects are re‑tested and candidates undertake a series of full‑length mock examinations.

To accommodate working professionals, Finnacle offers flexible delivery formats: weekday and weekend batches, a pre‑recorded lecture option for those unable to attend live sessions, and a round‑the‑clock doubt‑forum that accepts queries via text, images, or linked resources. The CFA training vertical is led by Mr. Laukik Shah, who brings 24 years of CFA training experience. Faculty across the Mumbai and Surat branches include individuals who have cleared CFA Level II and Level III, FRM charterholders, chartered accountants, and practitioners with direct capital‑markets exposure.

The institute also promotes its Finbridge® Advanced track, which integrates Level II preparation with a broader curriculum covering financial modelling, equity research, valuation, and live investment projects. Participants in this track are placed in core finance roles—including investment banking, equity research, portfolio management, private equity, mutual funds, family offices, institutional equities, and venture capital—immediately after clearing Level I. Placement packages average INR 8.9 lakhs per annum and can reach up to INR 13 lakhs for top performers, leveraging a network of more than 120 recruiters. Candidates continue Level II and Level III preparation alongside their corporate roles at no additional training cost.
