Finnair July 2026 Passenger Performance

Finnair Oyj reported that it carried 1,243,800 passengers in July 2026, representing a 9.3% increase compared with July 2025. The airline’s revenue passenger kilometers (RPK) grew 6.2% year‑over‑year, while available seat kilometers (ASK) rose 3.6% over the same period. The passenger load factor for the month was 85.0%.

The RPK growth was attributed to a reduction in market capacity caused by the ongoing war in the Middle East. Specifically, Finnair’s Middle Eastern traffic capacity fell to zero during July, which led to a decline in RPKs for that route network. In addition, the airline recorded a decrease in RPKs on its domestic routes.
