FinX announced the launch of Season 2 of the Franklin Templeton National Mutual Fund Olympiad (FTNMFO) 2026 on August 4 2026 in Mumbai. The Olympiad is a nationwide competition designed to strengthen financial literacy and investment awareness among undergraduate and postgraduate students across India.

Participation Targets

  • The programme expects to engage over 50,000 students from more than 1,000 colleges.
  • Registrations are open through the official Olympiad platform and enrolment for colleges is provided at no cost.
  • Participants will be evaluated on their understanding of mutual funds, investment fundamentals, financial planning, market concepts and long‑term wealth creation.

  • SEBI’s Investor Survey 2025 indicated that 66 % of Gen Z respondents were aware of at least one market‑linked investment product, underscoring rising interest among young Indians.
