On August 4, 2026, FLYTTA GREEN announced from New Delhi the launch of its first fleet of heavy‑duty electric trucks dedicated to Dalmia Cement’s clinker transportation operations in Assam. The rollout is executed in partnership with Drivn, which is providing financing and leasing solutions for the vehicles.
Deployment Details
The first batch comprises 15 trucks supplied by Montra Electric and was delivered in the week preceding the announcement. A further 45 trucks are scheduled for delivery during August and September 2026, bringing the total of trucks deployed in the initial phase to 60.
Future Deployment Targets
FLYTTA GREEN plans to deploy 200 heavy‑duty electric trucks during the current financial year. Over the next 18 months, the company has received expressions of interest for approximately 1,000 trucks, which are expected to serve customers in the cement, mining and metals industries.
Geographic Focus
The primary deployment regions are the North‑East, East and South‑East zones of India, reflecting growing demand for low‑emission logistics in energy‑intensive sectors.
Infrastructure and Sustainability Initiatives
FLYTTA GREEN will develop dedicated charging infrastructure for the fleet and is exploring the integration of solar power to support vehicle operations, reinforcing its commitment to industrial decarbonisation.
Financing Structure
Drivn will finance and lease the trucks for the initial deployments, while financing for the remaining vehicles is expected to be sourced from international investors.
