Fortis Hospital Mulund inaugurated an Adult Vaccination Clinic, offering counseling, risk assessment, and vaccinations for diseases such as influenza, pneumonia, hepatitis B, shingles, tetanus, and HPV.
The clinic is led by Dr Kirti Sabnis, Consultant – Infectious Diseases Specialist, and was inaugurated by Padma Shri Dr Himmatrao Bawaskar, along with Dr S. Narayani (Business Head – Fortis Hospitals Maharashtra) and Dr Vishal Beri (Facility Director).
Operating Monday to Saturday, 12:00 PM–5:00 PM at Block A, OPD Area, the clinic provides walk‑in consultations and targets adults, including high‑risk groups such as organ‑transplant, bone‑marrow transplant, cancer patients, and those with chronic conditions.
Dr Kirti Sabnis highlighted that 95 % of deaths from vaccine‑preventable diseases in India occur in adults, underscoring the under‑utilization of adult immunization.
The initiative aligns with Fortis’s broader preventive‑health strategy and IHH Healthcare’s commitment to expanding value‑based care across its network.
