Announcement

Furtilo (formerly BelivMart), a Bengaluru‑based hyperlocal delivery startup, announced that it has closed a seed‑stage financing round with Trikona LLC, a US‑based early‑stage investment firm. The monetary amount was not disclosed.

Current Operations and Traction (as of October 2026)

The platform operates in more than 37 Tier‑3 and Tier‑4 towns across Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat, including Dhar, Shajapur, Sendhwa, Jaora, Biaora, Raisen, Kukshi, Badnagar, Dalauda, Pratapgarh, Salumbar, Bari Sadri, Chhabra, Lunawada and Santrampur. It has onboarded over 650 restaurants and shops, partnered with more than 70 delivery riders, and processes upwards of 6,000 orders each month. This represents a four‑fold increase from the 1,500‑plus monthly orders recorded in June 2026.

Merchants pay a flat subscription starting at Rs 99 per month and incur zero commission on orders, allowing them to retain up to 30 % of order value compared with typical commission‑based platforms that charge 20‑30 %.

Funding Utilisation and Expansion Plan

The seed capital will be allocated to:

  • Expansion into additional Tier‑3 and Tier‑4 towns across the existing states and neighbouring regions, using in‑house city teams and partnerships.
  • Strengthening technology and hiring for engineering and operations to enhance the Furtilo Customer, Merchant and Rider applications.
  • Launching new services—Parcel Delivery and Bike‑Taxi—leveraging the existing rider network, with Bike‑Taxi limited to states where it is permitted.

Furtilo now launches approximately ten new towns per month and aims to increase this to 30 launches per month by June 2027, targeting a presence in more than 500 small towns by mid‑2028.

Market Position and Value Proposition

The zero‑commission model gives merchants a digital storefront and delivery capability without building their own app. Customers can order food, groceries, stationery, electronics, puja items, agricultural supplies and more, paying via UPI or cash on delivery, and track the rider live. The “Nearby Shops” feature enables direct chat or call with shopkeepers to negotiate prices.

According to a merchant testimonial, sales from Furtilo now constitute about 35 % of the business for The LevelUp Café in Badnagar, Madhya Pradesh.

Leadership Comments

Ankit Agrawal, Co‑founder and CEO, stated that the funding will enable the company to bring its simple, fair model to hundreds of additional towns. Keshav Kiran, Managing Partner of Trikona LLC, highlighted the four‑fold order growth as evidence of strong demand in underserved markets.

Future Outlook

By mid‑2028, Furtilo plans to be the default delivery app in over 500 small towns, offering food delivery, Nearby Shops, Parcel Delivery and Bike‑Taxi services on a single rider network. Towns can request the service via a “Notify me” button in the app, while merchants and riders join through dedicated applications.
