Gabe Plotkin to Convert Assets into ETF

Hedge fund manager and Charlotte Hornets co‑chairman Gabe Plotkin plans to convert personal assets into an ETF via a 351 tax‑deferral strategy.
Plotkin will supply most of the initial securities for the proposed Snowball ETF, with the filing initially submitted in December.
He shut down his hedge fund after a clash with meme‑stock traders and later bought a stake in the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets.
