GAIL Board Approves 600 MW Solar Project

GAIL's board approved setting up a 600 MW solar project with 550 MWh battery storage in Uttar Pradesh.
The project requires a total investment of ₹3294.86 crores and will be financed through debt and equity.
The capacity addition is targeted for completion within 15 months from EPC contract award.
This represents a significant expansion from GAIL's current ~29 MW solar capacity.
