GAIL Signs 600 MW Solar Project Contract in UP

GAIL signed a contract with TUSCO Ltd to set up a 600 MW solar power project in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.
The project includes a 550 MWh Battery Energy Storage System to meet captive energy needs of GAIL's Pata petrochemical plant.
The initiative supports GAIL's diversification into low-carbon energy and expands its business footprint in Uttar Pradesh.
