The International Conference on Comparative Law was organized by Galgotias University in collaboration with Edith Cowan University, Australia, on May 29‑30 2026 in Greater Noida.
Senior members of the Indian judiciary attended, including Supreme Court Justice Rajesh Bindal, Delhi High Court Justice Tejas Karia, Allahabad High Court Justice Shubhash Vidyarthi, former Delhi High Court Justice J.R. Midha, and former Orissa High Court Chief Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh.
Prominent international scholars participated, such as Prof. Upendra Baxi (University of Warwick), Prof. Mauro Bussani (University of Trieste/Macau), Prof. Giuseppe Martinico (Sant’Anna, Pisa), Prof. Renata Deskoska (Macedonia), Prof. Shamini K. Ragavan (Birmingham Dubai), Prof. Muhammad Ekramul Haque (Dhaka), Prof. Indira Nanayakkara (Colombo), and Dr. Oyeniyi Abe (Nigeria).
MoUs were signed with Dharmashastra National Law University, National Law University Assam, Study In and Bein Legal Partners to expand legal education, research and industry collaboration.
Galgotias University’s rankings: QS World University Rankings 2026 placed it in the 1201‑1400 band (15th among private Indian universities), Times Higher Education 2026 placed it in the 1201‑1500 band (27th among private Indian universities). It holds NAAC A+ accreditation.
In 2026 the university reported over 5,100 job offers to its students from more than 1,250 recruiters and maintains partnerships with firms such as Apple, Infosys, Intel, Cisco, Tata Technologies, L&T EduTech, Capgemini and Salesforce.
