The MoU was executed during an official institutional visit by a Japanese delegation of more than two hundred members, led by His Excellency Kotaro Nagasaki, Governor of Yamanashi Prefecture, and was the sole university selected for the visit at the Uttar Pradesh‑Japan Investment Summit 2026.

Investment and Employment Impact

The Japanese delegation announced an investment of Rs 3,000 crore in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) region. The investment is projected to create approximately 10,000 jobs for young people, reflecting Uttar Pradesh’s increasingly investment‑friendly environment.
