Galgotias University has been placed in the QS World University Rankings 2027 within the 1201‑1400 global band, securing the 16th position among India’s private universities and ranking 46th overall among all public and private institutions in the country. In the same year, the university achieved the 3rd rank among private universities in Uttar Pradesh. The institution also featured in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026, positioned in the 1201‑1500 global band, ranked 27th among private universities and 65th among all Indian universities.

Student Outcomes

For the graduating class of 2026, Galgotias University facilitated more than 5,100 placement offers generated by over 1,250 recruiting organisations. The university’s entrepreneurship ecosystem supported the incubation of more than 135 startups on campus, several of which have begun generating revenue and creating employment.

Innovation & Research Infrastructure

The university operates approximately twenty industry‑aligned Centres of Excellence created in partnership with leading global industry players. Its research capabilities are bolstered by the NVIDIA DGX H200 High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure, providing advanced computational resources for faculty and students.

Student Achievements

Galgotias students secured 18 victories in Apple’s Swift Student Challenge 2026, one of the highest representations from any Indian university. At the EDVentures 2026 competition, where 19 teams from 10 countries competed, Galgotias teams earned the top honour, underscoring the institution’s strength in innovation and entrepreneurship. Additionally, students won five Gold Medals at the World Yogasana Championship 2026, a global event that attracted participants from 79 countries. The university’s innovation ecosystem also enabled students to develop 58 applications that are currently live on the Apple App Store.
