Gaurav Gupta’s First Permanent Paris Showroom

On 5 October 2026, Indian couture house Gaurav Gupta will open its inaugural permanent showroom in Paris, located at 6 Rue Jean Goujon in the 8th arrondissement’s Golden Triangle. The 300‑square‑metre space occupies a historic 1930 building designed by French architect Charles Lemaresquier, chosen for its strong architectural character that complements the brand’s aesthetic.

The showroom will feature Indian craftsmanship, artworks and bespoke furniture designed by Gaurav Gupta, while retaining the building’s original identity. This marks the first occasion the house can present couture outside the limited timeframe of Paris Haute Couture Week, allowing extended interaction with garments, clients and creative ideas.

Jean‑Paul Cornut has been appointed to lead the new Couture Salon. Cornut brings more than ten years of experience in Parisian haute couture, most recently serving as Haute Couture Director at Elie Saab, and his expertise is expected to anchor the salon’s development as a permanent Parisian base.

The opening underscores a milestone for Indian couture, reflecting the brand’s evolution from presenting the “Shunya” collection at Paris Haute Couture Week in 2023 to establishing a lasting presence in the global fashion capital. Gaurav Gupta has previously dressed high‑profile cultural figures—including Beyoncé, Priyanka Chopra, Kim Kardashian, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Shakira, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fan Bingbing—and maintains retail partnerships with luxury retailers such as Harrods, Bergdorf Goodman and Bloomingdale’s.
