Launch Overview

Gentle, a financial intelligence platform targeting young Indian investors, announced the public launch of its mobile application on 4 November 2026 in Ahmedabad, India. The app is now available for download on both iOS and Android devices.

Core Offering

The platform aggregates a user’s entire investment portfolio—including stocks, mutual funds, REITs, InvITs, ETFs, alternative investment funds (AIFs) and unlisted shares—into a single view. It delivers a personalised news feed that is filtered based on the user’s holdings, followed entities and app usage, with each story providing plain‑language explanations of its impact on the broader economy, the relevant sector and the user’s own investments. A separate general market feed offers a wider market perspective. The “Discover” section enables users to explore listed companies, mutual funds, IPOs and other instruments, each accompanied by straightforward context about the business and its drivers.

Founder’s Statement

Founder Vishvesh Patel is quoted saying, “Most young Indians I know are doing well and still can’t answer one simple question: is my money okay? It’s currently scattered across five apps, an Excel sheet and a CA’s PDF. We built Gentle to bring it into one place and explain, in plain English, what the market means for what you own.”
