Profile of New Chief Risk Officer
Mrs. Prerana Puthran joined GIC Re in 1992 and has served across various profiles during her tenure. She is a commerce graduate and Fellow of Insurance Institute of India (FIII). She has handled departments including Underwriting, Enterprise Risk Management, Claims Vertical, Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, and Credit Rating. Currently holding the post of Deputy General Manager, she heads the Enterprise Risk Management Department, CSR, and Investment Mid Back. She has acquired relevant experience in the corporation's risk management framework and has been actively involved in risk governance initiatives, risk assessment exercises, monitoring mechanisms, and reporting requirements.
