GK Energy Limited has received a Letter of Award from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited for setting up 150 MW / 300 MWh of Battery Energy Storage Systems in Maharashtra.
The award was issued under the utility's Tariff-Based Global Competitive Bidding process conducted through an e-reverse auction for 2,000 MW / 4,000 MWh of BESS with Viability Gap Funding support.
