Global Energy Alliance appoints renewable entrepreneur Tanya Singhal as Vice President for India to lead grid modernization and clean power scaling.
Singhal, co‑founder of SolarArise, raised over ₹2,000 crores and built a 500 MWp solar portfolio backed by EIB’s GEEREF and Kotak Mahindra fund.
The alliance’s India portfolio includes 26 projects, targeting $1 billion financing, 49 million people access, 2.2 million jobs, and 166 million tons emissions reduction.
In Feb 2026, it launched the India Grids of the Future Accelerator with an initial $25 million to support grid digitalisation and battery storage.
