Shri Pankaj Kanaiyalal Purohit, Executive Director, retired from the services of the company effective May 31, 2026, as intimated by the company in a prior letter dated June 01, 2026.
The company has re-engaged Shri Pankaj Kanaiyalal Purohit as Executive Director on a fixed-term contractual basis. The re-engagement is effective from June 12, 2026, for an initial period of six (6) months.
The term of this contractual appointment may be extended for a further period of six (6) months, subject to the approval of the Managing Director.
Profile of the Executive
Shri Pankaj Kanaiyalal Purohit has over 36 years of extensive experience in operations, process management, and service functions. During his long tenure with GNFC, he held key positions across the Nitrophosphate Project, BSD, TDI-II Process at Dahej, Steam & Power Generation, and Urea plants. In his last assignment, he was responsible for the overall Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of the TDI-II Dahej site and associated service functions, including Design & Consultancy, Laboratory & R&D, Civil Maintenance, Fire & Safety, Medical Centre, Neem Plant, ISD & Telecom, ECU, and S&R Club activities. He is a Chemical Engineer from Dharamsinh Desai University, Nadiad.
