Godawari Power & Ispat allotted 5 crore equity shares at par totaling ₹50 crore in its wholly-owned subsidiary GNEPL on April 15, 2026.
Total investment in GNEPL increased to ₹350 crore representing 100% ownership to fund a 20 GWh Battery Energy Storage System plant.
Investment executed through rights basis at arm's length price as GNEPL is a related party subsidiary incorporated in June 2025.
Funds will be utilized for capex and working capital requirements for the battery plant setup in Maharashtra with current net worth of ₹350 crore.
